The interdisciplinary Fintech laboratory is dedicated to supporting research and education in financial engineering, computational finance and risk management, and it continues the work that has been done over a decade in the scope of the Annita John Levi Financial Engineering and Risk Management Laboratory.
In particular, the focus of the lab on machine learning based automation of financial decision processes. The lab provides a state of the art computational infrastructure, expertise of both IE&M faculty members and industry experts, and access to relevant data sets. Alongside its research activities, the lab also serves as the academic and technological infrastructure for the faculty’s Fintech specialization track for B.Sc. students from across the Technion.
