Congratulations to Ori Goldfryd on Being Selected for the Cornell Tech Summer Program

We are proud to congratulate Ori Goldfryd, a Master’s student in the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, on being selected to participate in the prestigious 2026 Summer Program at Cornell Tech, Cornell University’s technology campus in New York City.

Ori is one of only seven students selected from among all Technion students who applied to the program—an impressive achievement that reflects his outstanding personal qualities, academic excellence, and research accomplishments.

Ori is pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science on the research track. His research interests include artificial intelligence, language models, and the behavior and safety of intelligent systems.

Next week, Ori will travel to New York, where he will spend two months participating in research activities alongside researchers and students in a leading academic and technological environment. The program will provide him with an opportunity to deepen his research, explore new research directions, and build international collaborations.

We are always proud to see our students take part in cutting-edge international research, gain experience in leading research environments, and represent the Faculty and the Technion within prominent research communities around the world.

Ori, we wish you great success, fruitful research, and a meaningful and rewarding experience in New York!
