At the ACL 2025 conference, a new study by Dr. Yevgeni Berzak from the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, together with Omer Shubi and Cfir Hadar, showed how AI models can predict a reader’s goal (search vs. general reading) with around 90% accuracy.
Even within just a few seconds of reading, the system can pick up subtle patterns—opening the door to exciting applications in personalized learning, accessibility, and information design.
