Associate Professor Joachim A. Behar joined the faculty of Biomedical Engineering in 2019 and the faculty of Data and Decision Sciences in 2025. He completed his Ph.D. in Biosignal Processing and Medical Machine Learning from Oxford University in 2015. His research interests include: Deep learning, Digital Healthcare, Computer Vision, Mathematical Modeling in medicine. He heads the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Laboratory (AIMLab.) which develops artificial intelligence algorithms for basic medical & clinical research which will lead to significantly improved patient care.
