Call for Tenure-Track Positions, the Behavioral Sciences and Management Group

The Behavioral Sciences and Management Group, in the Faculty of Data and Decision
Sciences at the Technion, invites applications for an academic tenure-track appointment
(open rank; per qualifications and experience). The appointment will commence in
October 2026 or March 2027.

We seek applicants with a Ph.D. in social, organizational, computational, or
cognitive psychology, organizational behavior, marketing, or a closely related field.
We are looking for scholars who demonstrate excellence in quantitative behavioral
research. The applicants are expected to offer comprehensive and innovative research
programs that draw on multiple perspectives within psychology and behavioral sciences.
The Behavioral Sciences and Management Group is uniquely positioned within the
Data and Decision Sciences Faculty, enabling fruitful and ground-breaking research
collaborations using cutting-edge methods. Preference will be given to applicants who
highlight how their research connects and contributes to collaborative opportunities
within the faculty.

Current members in the Behavioral Sciences and Management Group hold research
centers and labs in the following areas: decision-making, organizational behavior, social
psychology, consumer behavior, environmental psychology and cognitive psychology.
Our graduate program attracts outstanding students and offers generous scholarships.
Reflecting our strong emphasis on research excellence, the teaching load in our faculty is
relatively low, allowing faculty members to devote substantial time to advancing their
research agendas.

Applications must include a curriculum vitae, a cover letter, a list of publications and
forthcoming publications, a research statement outlining their research agenda, and
sample publications. Applicants must also arrange to have three names from whom we
can get letters of reference.

position at the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, Technion. We will start formally
