The faculty is proud to announce the recipient of the award presented at the ORSIS Conference 2025:
The Abraham Mahraz Memorial Award for research students will be awarded to Arseny Shmelev, a master’s student at the Technion under the supervision of Dr. Noa Zychlinski, for the paper:
A. Shmelev and N. Zychlinski, “The Power of Letting Go: Scheduling, Rejection and Controlled Abandonment in Multi-Server Queues.” Submitted, 2025.
The Abraham Mahraz Memorial Award is granted by Ben-Gurion University and ORSIS for an outstanding student paper in the field of Operations Research.
