Associate Professor Benisty joined the faculty in 2025. She has been a faculty member at The Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine since 2023. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and has held a Postdoctoral position at Yale University from 2018 to 2022. Benisty’s interdisciplinary computational lab focuses on developing geometric frameworks for neural network dynamics. The group translates biological questions about brain activity, state, and behavior into rigorous mathematical formulations, enabling the design of advanced, interpretable methods for neural data analysis.
