Professor Yair Goldberg is a biostatistician at the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He develops statistical and machine-learning methods for complex longitudinal health data, including survival and event-history analysis, missing and censored data, dynamic prediction and causal questions.

His research is motivated by applications in public health, clinical medicine and health-care policy. He works with clinical and population-level data to develop reliable evidence for prevention, treatment and health-system decision-making
