ABSTRACT
Dr. Ann Kronrod is Associate Professor of Marketing at University of Massachusetts. She has a PhD in linguistics and she will reveal secret recipes from the kitchen of research on language in business. She will begin with a brief introduction about the basics of language and linguistics, and then describe how language can influence stakeholders in various business situations. Example topics are, how to recognize fake online content by its language; how assertive should be advertising messages, or how pronouns like “we” and “you” in your communication will influence perceptions about your business.
