Congratulation to Rotem Dror a Ph.D. student at our faculty for receiving the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Postdoctoral Award for Women in Mathematical and Computing Sciences, a.k.a the “Israeli Women’s Postdoctoral Award”.
The 50,000$ award supports promising women who received their doctorate from a university in Israel and are starting a postdoctoral fellowship abroad, as they are making their early steps pursuing academic research careers in the mathematical and computational sciences or engineering in Israel.
Roten is a second consecutive year Schmidt Award winner from our faculty, following Sara Keren who won it last year, and since only 10 women are awarded every year, this great news is remarkable and make us extremely proud.
