The Technion’s team, led by our faculty students has brought us much pride at the Israel Universities Debate Championship, which was held this week.
Tomer Dovzhenko, an undergraduate student in the Data Science & Engineering track, got to the finals of the competition along with his teammate Nadav Kiri from the Computer Science faculty.
Yael Wolff and Guy Wolf both from the Data Science & Engineering track as well, reached the semi-finals and were ranked as the second-best team of the competition.
By the end of the day, Tomer finished second, Yael third and Gay fourth at the event’s outstanding speakers list.
In addition, Karni Shifrin of the Data Science & Engineering track (again) was ranked second on the outstanding first-year student list.
