A Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is a cooperation of the public sector and the private sector delivering a project or a service usually provided by the public sector. Projects of this kind tend to be long-termed and involve many and varied players and stakeholders. Managing stakeholders in such projects and identifying the risks associated with them is a real challenge that has not been adequately addressed so far.
An article by Itai Lishner, a doctoral student in the faculty, written in collaboration with Shandong University in China presents the stakeholder management process and identifying the risks associated with them using the SNA – Social Network Analysis model and validates the model with case study of a real project by the Chinese government.
the article, “Identification of Governance Structures for Private Public Partnership (PPP) Project through Social Network Analysis” was presented at the 8th IPMA Research Conference and won the BEST PAPER award.
Itai’s doctoral research, under the supervision of Prof. Avi Shtub, focuses on the modeling and simulation of project management processes
