Eyal Ben David  has been awarded the 2021 IBM PhD Fellowship. Eyal is a PhD student in the Natural Language Processing group, supervised by Roi Reichart. His research aims to adapt NLP algorithms to real-life setups. Accordingly, his research focuses on extending the reach of NLP algorithms to new linguistic domains, as well as developing algorithms that deal better with examples beyond the training distribution.

The award is intended to support students in their research and  IBM encourages and invite the Fellowship winners to do an internship in order to be better informed with the the research done by the company

While IBM PhD Fellowship awardees are not obligated to do so, IBM  strongly encourage and invite them to join the company for an internship so they can get a deeper anderstanding of its research.
